SPRING BREAK

Ugh! Spring Break is almost over already!?! This has been a busy week. My last term of college classes started this week. I've been bombarded with family life, college work load, teaching work loads, and getting ready for my first Mom-to-Mom sale this weekend. My hubby & I have a TON of boy clothes that my 10 year old son has outgrown the past 7 years. I think I'm going to be selling them for a pretty low price so that I don't have to cart them around again!

TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

I've recently started receiving newsletters from Edsurge. It is a website about the most recent technology news in education. If you're interested in what the latest & greatest is, sign up for their newsletter & follow them on twitter @edsurge.

I've also created a classroom on Edmodo. It's free and it's a really neat way to connect with your students in a safe "social media" type atmosphere. If you get a chance, check it out! I'm not sure what I'll use it for with my 2nd graders, but we'll see!

JOB READINESS

 I found this blogger that is sharing tips on how to be competitive in the job field. This IS the time that we are all looking for prospective jobs, right?
